The story of this one
How it came about
The mast is a piece of driftwood off the Batumi shoreline, found after a storm in February. It sat on the bench for a month before it became a tower — everything else was cut to lean with it, which is why the upper roof sits slightly off square.
The shingles are cut one at a time from pine off-cuts, about four hundred of them, stained in three passes so the roof reads green-grey rather than brown. The moss is real, preserved, and gathered a short walk uphill from the workshop.
If you commission one like it, expect a different lean. I can match the palette and the size, but the branch decides the rest.
