A whole village of miniature lit houses spread along the top of a mossy tree stump in a green forest at dusk
Handmade in Batumi, Georgia — one pair of hands

A small light, left on for you.

Request a commission

Handcrafted miniature homes to bring a little light and comfort to your space

Shingles laid board by board. Real moss, twigs, tiny mushrooms and lanterns. One warm bulb behind the window, so it reads as a lit house in a dark room — a shelf, a desk, a windowsill at 11pm.

Fits in a palm: 10–15 cm tall.
Wood, moss, wire, warm LED. No printing, no kits.
Shelf and desk decor. Not a birdhouse, not a dollhouse to play with.
An open hand holding a small red-brown wooden cottage with an arched door, mossy shingled roof and a tiny mushroom on the ridge, showing it is no bigger than a palm

How a commission works

Three or four weeks, a few pieces at a time. You are talking to the person holding the knife.

01

Tell me what you picture

A shop with an OPEN sign, a cottage on a stack of books, a tower with one lit window. A sentence is enough to start.

02

I sketch, quote and set a date

You get a small drawing and a price. Three to four weeks at the bench, and only a few commissions at a time.

03

You see it lit before it leaves

Photos in the dark first. Then handed over in Batumi, or wrapped by hand for the road.

The maker

One room, one lamp, a very small saw

I started with off-cuts and a craft knife, making a house for a friend who was having a hard winter. It sat on her shelf with the light on. She said the room felt different.

Everything still happens at one bench in Batumi: cutting the shingles, staining the boards, gluing moss with tweezers, testing the bulb in the dark before it goes anywhere. A few pieces a month, no more.

Tell me what you picture

A sentence is enough to start. I answer in a day or two, in my own words, with a sketch and a price.
